Hey, how come Claire got a picture with the class? I thought we couldn't do it. I would've loved a picture of the class I was in, they were great. I also loved the teacher, she's had me very hands on again today correcting papers, making sure no one cheats on the tests, helping monitor kids while they do their Math and I even gave the spelling test. It was so much fun. I got stuck at one point, I couldn't come up with a sentence for "also" during the test. How bad was that? Too bad we only got to spend 2 days with these kids. I felt like I was just getting the hang of it, that I was getting to know the kids--their quirks, who likes to play on the sophomore student, who needs special help and how to help etc.
My teacher was so nice and I hope to stay in touch with her in the future. I am really going to miss that class. I became vey attached. It's nice to have a picture. I was also very hands on. Today I got covered in paint so that was fun lol. I also got to supervise a lot when the teacher had to go and sort some stuff out. Overall I loved this school and I would love to go there for my junior field.
Last Friday's field visit was a great experience. Since the kindergarten teacher from the week before was out, I observed one of the 2nd grade classes. I actually enjoyed the 2nd grade much more than the kindergarten class. I really liked how the 2nd grade teacher managed her class as well as the teaching methods and materials she used. She was very down to earth. Her students seemed to be very comfortable around her and seemed to enjoy the way she communicated with them. I would have loved to go back this Friday!

lol..it's because I got into a conversation with Claire's cooperating teacher and she invited me to take the photo. Sorry Maria...maybe next time!
